We are curating for thinkers, doers, artists, and people with ideas for TEDxBendWomen 2016. Our theme this year, in synch with TEDWomen's theme It's About Time is Time for What Matters.
Women often feel trapped in webs of societal and internal expectations, and the precious commodity of time is increasingly hard to preserve and cherish. We seek talks, art, and performances that helps us think differently about time.
As always, researched-based ideas in the fields of engineering, science, the social sciences and medicine are welcome. We also welcome emerging talent in dance, music, the fine arts and the performing arts.
Self-nominations are welcome. Short-listed nominees will be contacted in the by August 15.
Note: Talks cannot be commercial in nature. For example, authors ought not reference their book in their talks and corporate executives ought not reference their company or products. The exception to this rule is a presentation showcasing an invention.
All form fields are required for submission.
