“Reverie” Juried Exhibition

Submission Requirements

  • Email submissions to lisa.sipe@gmail.com by midnight on 3/18/16
  • Artist may submit up to 3 pieces for review (Artists may not substitute another work for an accepted work nor withdraw the work once it is accepted.)
  • Image type: JPG
  • File Dimension: No smaller than 1920 pixels on the longest side
  • File resolution: 72 ppi/dpi (standard web resolution)
  • Include your Name, Email, Phone Number & Website


“Reverie” invites artists to explore – a state of dreamy meditation, a fanciful musing, a daydream or a fantastic, visionary or impractical idea – through art. “Reverie” will be exhibited at the TedxBend bash on April 23, 2016.

Selection Criteria

Works for inclusion in “Reverie” will be juried by Cari Brown (Artist and Co-Founder of The Workhouse), Kiel Fletcher (Interactive-New Media and Video Artist & Professor at OSU Cascades), and Renee Mitchell (Arts Advocate). The jury will be selecting a cohesive group of individual works that creates a solid, powerful exhibition.

 Selected artists will receive a complimentary ticket to the TedxBend Bash.


Eligible to all artists who live or work in Bend, Oregon to submit up to (3) entries in all themes, genres and media, except video. All work must be display-ready upon arrival. Entries must be original works of art and entirely created by the entrant.  No reproductions representing original artworks will be accepted. Fine art prints (including c-prints, digital prints, etchings, lithographs, woodblock, etc.) are eligible, but must be signed and numbered and in a limited edition of 125 or less. Only original artwork will be considered. Artwork must have been completed within the last two years.

If you are selected, artwork for the show must be:

  • Available for exhibition on 4/23/16
  • Wall-mounted
  • Framed or fully finished, wired, and ready to hang on picture hooks
  • Lighter than 20 pounds


  • The artist is responsible for dropping off, or arranging to have their work delivered.
  • The artist is responsible for picking up, or arranging to have work picked up.
  • TedxBend is not responsible for works left in the gallery after the close of the show.
